A lovely rural pub, ideally located between Reading and Newbury and close to Thatcham and Theale. Our four en-suite B&B rooms provide excellent accommodation for Business travellers, festival goers to Wasing and Englefiled and guests attending local weddings. Or join us for a ‘mini-break’ and visit the many local attractions including Highclere Castle, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery and Newbury Races. About
The Six Bells is a family run pub and restaurant, which has been lovingly renovated in 2020 to bring a modern feeling to this historic building. We offer local draft ales and lagers, an extensive wine and gin list, as well as a delicious seasonal dining menu.
Come and join us by the fireplace for coffee on Friday and Saturday mornings from 10am, in the sunny conservatory for brunch on Saturday or in our modern restaurant for dinner, with views into the open kitchen and beer garden.
We are a dog friendly pub and inn, with muddy paws welcome in the main bar, snug and conservatory.

Our Chef
The kitchen is led by our head chef, using fresh local produce to create a range of tasty pub classics. The menu changes regularly depending on the availability of seasonal produce. We are happy to cater for all allergies and intolerances and have a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
Produce
All our produce is sourced locally, using well known suppliers such as Vicars game and Fisher of Newbury, with the intention of broadening our local suppliers in the future. We have created a sustainable menu, with many vegetarian and vegan options.
Children
We pride ourselves in being a family friendly business, all children are welcome, we offer a great homemade children’s menu – catering for any dietary/ allergy requirements.

The Six Bells is situated in the quaint village of Beenham, nestled in the outstanding natural countryside of West Berkshire. Take a walk or cycle through the village, or perhaps adventure out into the picturesque woodland. Located just off the A4, in between popular towns of Newbury and Reading.
