A lovely rural pub, ideally located between Reading and Newbury and close to Thatcham and Theale. Our four en-suite B&B rooms provide excellent accommodation for Business travellers, festival goers to Wasing and Englefiled and guests attending local weddings. Or join us for a ‘mini-break’ and visit the many local attractions including Highclere Castle, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery and Newbury Races. About

The Six Bells is a family run pub and restaurant, which has been lovingly renovated in 2020 to bring a modern feeling to this historic building. We offer local draft ales and lagers, an extensive wine and gin list.

 

We are a dog friendly pub and inn, with muddy paws welcome in the main bar, snug and conservatory.

Food

Using seasonal and local ingredients we have a changing menu day to day to provide our guests with the freshest of meals.

Drink

Friday and Saturday evening with enjoy our cocktail happy hour between 7-9pm offering 2 for £12 on selected cocktails!

Take a walk or cycle through the village, or perhaps adventure out into the picturesque woodland. Located just off the A4, in between popular towns of Newbury and Reading.
